FAQ
Can you describe the process of ordering with your company?
Our process is created for high quality, speed and the best pricing. First, the client picks a stone, we then give the client an estimate based on their specific project. After that an order can be placed with us for a template. From the time the template is made our clients can expect a turnaround time of 5 to 7 days.
Do I need an appointment to come down to your place?
Not at all! Stone Age Granite & Marble is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Where do you operate?
Stone Age Granite & Marble services all of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Both residential and commercial jobs are welcome. We are a direct fabricator and installer of kitchen countertops, vanities, Jacuzzi surrounds, fireplace surrounds, and custom designs.
What is your payment policy?
Stone Age Granite & Marble accepts cash and checks. Once the order is placed the grand total is broken up into two payments, one before/during the template, and the other due at the end of the installation.
Do I have to buy the whole sheet/slab?
No. We will determine how much material is needed for your countertops. We do not charge you the price of full slabs. You pay for what is required to fabricate your tops.
I am considering purchasing a granite countertop for my kitchen. Is it expensive?
You are on your way to making the best countertop choice! Stone Age Granite & Marble has something for everyone. Our clientele ranges from the budget shopper to the elite and wealthy. Let us give you an estimate!
What is pre fabricated granite?
We’re not sure, but we do know it isn’t granite at all. We only deal with real full slabs of Grade A stone. Stone Age Granite & Marble does have an entry level stone comparable in price. You can now get a custom kitchen without compromising quality.
What do I need for a free quote?
We require our potential clients to provide All Granite and Marble with the general overview of the project along with personal information such as name, town, state, zip code, a phone contact, and if known, the name of the stone and the desired edge finish. We can then process the specific measurements and respond with an approximate estimate for the job. This information can either be faxed to us or brought to our showroom when the client comes in for a walk in our yard.
